Shipping & Returns Policy
Thank you for shopping with The Kitchen Resource. We want you to be entirely satisfied with your purchase. By using our website and placing an order, you agree to the following terms.
1. Return & Refund Window
  • Standard Returns: If you change your mind, eligible non-defective items can be returned within 25 days of delivery.
  • Restocking Fees: Restocking and repacking fees for buyer-remorse returns may apply, up to a maximum of 15% of the total purchase price. Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
  • Order Cancellations: You may request to cancel an order at any time before it ships by contacting our support team. If an item is out of stock or cannot be fulfilled, we will notify you immediately and issue a full refund.
2. Damaged, Broken, or Defective Goods
If your order arrives damaged or defective, we will make it right immediately.
  • Reporting: Please notify us within 3 business days of delivery with photographic or video proof of the damage.
  • Prepaid Labels: We will provide a prepaid return shipping label within 3 business days for any verified damaged items.
  • Refund Issuance: Once the return tracking shows the item is in transit back to our facility, your refund will be processed within 3 business days.
3. Lost or Delayed Shipments
We monitor our logistics closely to ensure your kitchen equipment arrives safely.
  • Lost in Transit: If a package is officially declared destroyed or lost by the carrier, we will issue a full refund within 3 business days or initiate a redelivery within 5 business days.
  • Delays & Missing Tracking: If a shipment experiences severe carrier delays (exceeding 45 days for standard US domestic shipments without a tracking update), you are eligible to request a full refund or a replacement shipment.
  • Local Delivery Issues: Please ensure your shipping address is accurate. If a package is marked as "delivered" but you have not received it, please contact our support team so we can initiate a carrier investigation.
3.1. Lost, Undelivered, or Missing Shipments
We want to ensure your order arrives safely at your doorstep or business location.
  • Delivery Confirmation: If tracking shows your package was delivered but you have not received it, please check with neighbors or your local delivery carrier. If the item remains missing, contact our support team within 7 days so we can help file a carrier investigation.
  • Incorrect Addresses: Please double-check your shipping details at checkout. If you notice an error, contact us immediately. Once an order has shipped, we cannot change the delivery address. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we can reship it to you (subject to a redelivery fee) or issue a refund minus the original shipping costs.
4. Damaged Items & Packaging
  • Product Damage: If your item arrives broken or defective, we offer a full refund or a complimentary replacement. For minor cosmetic issues (such as superficial scratches that do not affect the function of the item), please reach out to us for a partial store credit or partial refund.
  • Packaging Issues: We partner with premium logistics networks to protect your items. If a product arrives with severely damaged packaging that compromises the item inside, please take photos and contact us immediately so we can file a claim with the carrier.
4.1. Incorrect Items or Missing Parts
Every order undergoes a strict quality control inspection before leaving the warehouse. In the rare event that an error occurs:
  • Wrong Item Received: If you receive the incorrect product, color, or size, we will provide a prepaid return label and ship the correct item immediately, or issue a full refund.
  • Missing Components: If an item arrives missing a part or accessory, please notify us within 14 days. For parts that do not affect the main function, we will ship the missing piece or offer a partial refund. If the missing component renders the product unusable, a replacement product will be sent right away.
5. How to File a Quality or Damage Claim
We stand behind the quality of our kitchenware. If your item arrives defective, significantly different than described, or damaged, please follow these steps to ensure a fast resolution:
  • Submitting Proof: Contact our support team with your order number and provide clear photos or videos showing the issue.
  • Review Window: Our quality assurance team will review your claim and issue a response or approval within 3 business days.
  • Return Labels & Processing: If a return is required, we will issue a prepaid shipping label within 3 business days of claim approval. Your refund will be processed within 3 business days of the package being scanned into transit by the carrier.
  • Replacements & Out-of-Stock Items: If you prefer a replacement item, we will ship it within 5 business days of claim approval. If the item is currently out of stock, we will issue a full refund, or you may choose to wait for a restock notice.
5.1 Quality Standards & Warranties
  • Product Authenticity: Every product listed on The Kitchen Resource is curated, inspected, and vetted to meet our strict quality metrics for both residential and commercial use.
  • Our Guarantee: We take full responsibility for the items sold on our platform. In the rare event that a product does not meet the specified manufacturing standards or arrives with a defect, we will coordinate directly with you to provide a repair, replacement, or refund.
6. Tracking & Fulfillment Protections
We want you to be fully informed about your order's journey. We protect your purchases with the following tracking guarantees:
  • Invalid Tracking Numbers: In the rare event that an incorrect tracking number is generated, we will correct it within 4 business days. If we cannot provide a valid tracking number within this timeframe, you are eligible for a full refund.
  • Fulfillment Delays: If a shipping label is created but the carrier website shows no tracking updates or movement for more than 7 business days, please contact us. We will investigate with the carrier and, if the item is stalled, process a refund or replacement within 3 business days.
  • Extended Transit: If your shipment's transit time exceeds our maximum estimated delivery window by 10 days or more without an active carrier update, you may request a full refund or a replacement shipment.
7. Shipping Restrictions & Exclusions
  • Remote Delivery Fees: Certain remote or isolated addresses may require additional carrier surcharges. If your delivery address requires a remote delivery fee, our support team will contact you before processing the order.
  • International Shipping Limits: We currently optimize our logistics to serve our core domestic markets. At this time, we do not ship to destinations where reliable carrier tracking cannot be guaranteed. If you place an order from an unsupported region, your order will be automatically cancelled and fully refunded.
8. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Events)
While we partner with dependable logistics networks, The Kitchen Resource cannot be held liable for delivery delays or product damage caused by circumstances beyond our control. This includes, but is not limited to: severe weather, natural disasters, labor strikes, customs inspections, or international conflicts. In the event of a systemic delay, we will proactively notify you via our official support channel.

 

9. Special Order Cancellations & Final Sale Items
To maintain efficient operations, certain customized or specialized order types carry unique cancellation restrictions:
  • Standard Orders: You may request a full cancellation and refund at any time before the item is processed and prepared for shipment at our fulfillment centers.
  • Custom & Made-to-Order Items: Orders for custom-fabricated kitchen elements, personalized products, or specific pre-ordered bulk inventory cannot be cancelled or refunded once production or sourcing has begun.
10. Exclusions & Unacceptable Return Claims
The Kitchen Resource reserves the right to reject return or refund claims under the following circumstances:
  • User Errors: Items ordered incorrectly by the buyer (wrong size, color, or SKU) or delivery failures due to an incorrectly provided shipping address.
  • Unverified Quality Claims: Claims stating a product does not match descriptions without providing clear photographic or video evidence.
  • International Customs Issues: Packages abandoned, destroyed, or delayed due to a commercial buyer's failure to comply with local import documentation, custom clearances, or foreign trade policies.
  • Closed Order Status: Return or refund claims filed outside our standard 25-day post-delivery window.
11. Customer Satisfaction & Dispute Resolution
